The management of Jarol Investments, t/a Chances continues to assist and give back to the community of Grand Bahama, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and economic challenges face by many businesses.
Recently, two patrons of the business were recipients of brand-new vehicles.
The winners were selected through a raffle format.
Company’s Marketing Manager Karen Wilson in an interview with this daily on Tuesday, September 7, said that although the pandemic continues to have an adverse impact on the economy, Jarol Investments Ltd, via Chances, continues to give back to communities.
As a result, the company recently distributed a number of vehicles through a raffle, across their locations in The Bahamas.
On Tuesday, Grand Bahama winners received the keys to their new wheels.
“We held a raffle that started on June 7 and ended on September 3. As a result of that, on Grand Bahama, Ruth Hield won the car and Nadia Davis won a scooter.
“We actually raffled two cars in the Northern Bahamas and two in the Southern Bahamas. In Bimini, John Russell won a car and in Abaco, Shawn Knowles won a scooter. On each island we raffled a scooter as well as cash prizes,” Wilson said.
“Today our winners on Grand Bahama are receiving the scooter and car (respectively).”
She shared that the winners became eligible for the raffle by simply placing at least $20 on their Chances accounts.
“This is not the first time that we have held such raffles and it will not be the last. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we still decided to give back. A few months ago, we donated to the Reach Out Youth Organization to assist with their feeding program. We also donated to the Bahamas Red Cross, again, to help with their feeding program. We also hosted a back-to-school initiative,” Wilson disclosed.
Scooter winner Nadia Davis shared her excitement on winning one of the top prizes during Chances’ most recent raffle.
“It is awesome to have won this scooter, because I have never won anything in my life in a raffle. This is the first and so, I am very excited.
“I made a deposit of $20 on my account; filled out the information and I was told that I won a scooter. Now I am here to collect.
“I am very happy that I won. Thank you Chances!”
Questioned what she would say to others to take advantage of the raffle she said: “Try your luck.”
Winner of the car, Ruth Hield commented: “I am elated to have won this car and I am extremely appreciative for it. Thank you Chances.”
