The Air It Out Four-on-Four regular season is primed and ready to go this coming weekend.

Flag football Sundays are back with the fast growing format this coming November 11, staged at the Freeport Rugby and Football Club. Games will take place this and every Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The league has been in existence for four years and consists of eight co-ed teams that will battle it out on a weekly basis to see who will raise the championship trophy in January 2019.

The Fitness Connection (league sponsor) People’s Champs, Beast Mode, White Wolves, Black Panthers, Queen of Spades (league sponsor), Rugby Boys and the Vipers are the eight teams featured in the league.

Over the past two weeks, the teams got warmed up for the regular season with preseason tilts. During the first week of preseason games, the Black Panthers defeated the Gym Rats 12-0. Queen of Spades rolled past the People’s Champs, 48-12. The Vipers and White Wolves went down to the wire but the Vipers prevailed with the 34-28 victory.

During week two of the preseason Beast Mode blasted the Rugby Boys 44-12. The Queen of Spades ended the preseason at a perfect 2-0 with a 21-18 win over the Bad Boys. The People’s Champs and the Vipers played to a draw with the final score, 20-20.

This coming Sunday, the Vipers will take on Queen of Spades in the opening tilt, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Followed by that contest will be the Black Panthers going up against the Rugby Boys at 2:00 p.m. The People’s Champs will take on the White Wolves. That game will be played simultaneously at 2:00 p.m.

The feature game of the day will be between the Bad Boyz when they take on Beast Mode at 3:00 p.m.
