In all walks of life, people somewhere are brawled in some kind of battle. Whether on the job, in the home, market place or simply in the mind, battles are uncomfortable for us all. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
No one enters combat with the outlook of defeat. Although, the battle of life at times become unbearable and our opponent appears unpredictable, we must remain in the fight. The witches and warlocks of this time, are bold and determined. They will stop at nothing to get believers to walk away for their salvation and stop trusting God. Nevertheless, we must remain resolute that “No weapon formed against us shall prosper for this is the heritage of the servant of the Lord.”
I don’t care how many people Satan uses or possesses to attack you. In the end, if you remain connected to God, you will conquer each attack. Very often, on our jobs, we encounter attacks from every angle and wonder why are the attacks being cloned. In the absence of a defense, if you remain pure and uncontaminated by the evil surrounding you, God has promised to vindicate you.
With this conceptualism, you will attain great joy when you see how God delivers you and destroys your enemy. The Bible shares numerous stories of men and women of God, who were antagonized by wicked people. When the servants of the Lord cried out to God, in the midst of the injustice and wickedness, God stepped in and avenged His children. The story of Daniel reflects a powerful witness of how God avenges the wicked for plotting against His children. If that is not enough, we can use Mordecai as another encouraging witness of how God will show up and deliver those He calls His own.
As a child of God, you cannot be afraid of the Devil, nor should you be fearful of the vessels Satan uses for they shall each be destroyed with fire and brimstone in the last days. Let your focus remain on doing all you can to keep living godly. I do not care how much they talk about you. Stay in the fight! Even if they gather to gang you; stay in the fight. Some may lie on you; yet you should stay in the fight! It does not matter who abandons or betrays you; stay in the fight!
In essence, I am reminded that the battle is not to the strong, but to those who endure to the end shall be saved. Endurance is what we need to stay in the fight.
