Morality vs Technology

Luke 4:4 and Matthew 4:4 - It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Man’s marching forward is spiritual and not physical. God (YAHWEH) requires our heart and charity - not to advance through finance and more new things, but romance for God and neighbor. Money verses morality is wrong.

“Man’s inhumanity to brother man, must be replaced by man’s charity to all in need ... and need indeed, not greed. We must stop striving to achieve more and more of more and more things - laptops and computers, and smart phones must not be observed over MAN-KIND - being KIND TO MAN.

PROFUNDITY OF SIMPLICITY

The simple life is one where men see all men and women as family with Elohim as the Father of all. There is a simple direction, the prime directive - be fruitful and multiply. Abortion is murder!!! Not by war but peace SHALLOM. Not by hatred but love - CHARITY.

The simple life, unfortunately, we have abandoned in the name of progress. This progress is definitely in the wrong direction. We have allowed our direction to be governed by mammon - by acquisition of things and selfishness - by the nuclear family, rather than the village of the extended neighbors, where “one for all and all for one” is held together by love as the glue. It reverses the order of ME first to WE first - together - unity. The faults and failures of our forefathers must not determine the directions of our future. Isaiah 55:8-9 states, “For the thoughts of your people are not my thoughts, nor are my ways, your ways, is the utterance of Jehovah. (9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

The concept that God’s (YAHWEH’s) way is not man’s way is pertinently evident. You and I, we must give - give - give, not get - get - get. The Christmas spirit must be embedded in the mystery of John 3:16, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.” (NWT)
