Have We Sinned?

The marketplace is all but empty: There are some traces of business operations but for the most part, there is a drought in the atmosphere. People are hurting and are at a loss for financial gain. Relationships and friendships are being severed exposing fear and doubt in the true and living God. Have we sinned and left off from serving Yahweh, the God who has redeemed us? Have we allowed rebellion against JEHOVAH ELOHIM, the God, who created us to take root in our hearts like Lucifer, son of the morning? Let’s read the book of Isaiah chapter 14 verse (12) “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” Have we sinned in our hearts against God? Verse (13) “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.” Verse (14) “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most high.” Listen: Is it possible that during this time of drought and uncertainty, we have forgotten the true and living God? Have we sinned and set up our own Business and Marketing Plan? Man and Woman of Yahweh: Have we left off from serving the true and living God to follow the philosophy of man? Have we left the house of God to pursue the gain of money and prestige? Well! It is time for us to repent and return to Yahweh for He is seeking you and me out to follow after righteousness. God is calling for repentance not only in this country but all around the globe to return to living holy and righteous lives before the LORD. There is a stench in the realm of the spirit that has reached the nostrils of Yahweh and is stirring up a fierce anger against the people of God. Are we kindling our own fire and have become self-sufficient? Isaiah chapter 50 verse (11) “Behold, all ye that kindle a fire that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand. Ye shall lie down in sorrow.” Can you hear the call for you and me to follow after righteousness? Read it for yourself from Isaiah chapter 51 verse (1) “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.” Have we become like captives and being exiled and in a pit? Isaiah chapter 51 verse (14) “The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.” The exile here in this scripture refers to those who were captive in Babylon but could it also be extended to you and me?

The marketplace is all but empty and there is a drought in the atmosphere. The house of God is being left lying in waste. While we take our businesses and pursue those things that bring in revenue. We must work but have our Business and pursuit of wealth taken first place in our lives? The Word of God is becoming scarce. At Church gatherings, hardly anyone brings their Bibles and in Sunday School Scholars refer to their cell phones as their Bible and blatantly refuse to bring the Bible. While prayer is dwindling. You can hardly find a brother or sister who would pray with you during difficult times. Everyone is too busy! No time for Bible study and fasting. Fasting? Fasting has become a “bad” word! Have we forgotten what Jesus said to His Disciples who could not cast the dumb and deaf spirit out of the man in the Gospel of Mark chapter 9 verse 29 KJV “And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.” Have we sinned? We call evil good and good evil. Have we sinned? Has our conscience been seared with a hot iron? Have we allowed our hearts to become careless and hardened toward the things of God? Have we sinned and are drunken with the cares of this world. Have we sinned? Stop! Pause for a moment: Let us examine ourselves. Yes, we have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Be quiet…….hush: Can you hear it? As you and I repent we will hear the LORD of Host speak from Isaiah chapter 51 verse (12) “I, even I, am He that comforteth you: who art thou, that shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass”. Verse (13) And forgettest the LORD thy maker that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth: and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor as if he were ready to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor? I hasten to reiterate verse (14) “The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.”

Have we sinned? As I close……..Yes, we have all sinned and if we say we have not sinned, we make God a liar and we know that God is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent. After we repent, Yahweh ushers in Restoration, Healing and Deliverance. Hear the Word of the LORD today from Isaiah 51 verse (15) “But I am the LORD thy God that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of Hosts is His name.” He says to you today from the verse (16) “And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.” O Hallelujah!

Closing Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father: In the name of Jesus, we present ourselves to you and confess that we have sinned and come short of Your Glory. We confess every sin and ask you to cleanse us from secret faults and secret sins especially the sins of omission, those sins that we have done and do not know that we have done them. Forgive us for the sins of commission. Cause the bones that you have broken within us to rejoice in you for you are the God of our Salvation! Thank you, Father, for forgiveness and restoration of our lives this day. In Jesus name.
Amen.
