Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a stabbing incident that has left a male hospitalized in serious condition.
Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) Public Affairs and Communication Officer (PACO), Inspector Terecita Pinder, reported that on Tuesday, July 11 shortly before 8:00 p.m., one male stabbed another male while at a residence in the area of Frobisher Drive.
The victim was reportedly stabbed multiple times to the body with a knife.
He was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via private vehicle, where he was seen by doctor and is listed in serious condition.
Police are actively investigating this matter.
This is the second stabbing incident in Grand Bahama reported for the month of July.
On Saturday, July 1 a stabbing incident left a 15-year-old male hospitalized.
Reports revealed that shortly after 11:00 p.m., a male was reportedly attacked by a group of young men and stabbed about the body, while in the area of Wild Cat Avenue.
He was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
Police later arrested two male suspects in this matter who are assisting police with their investigation.
