Kayak Nature Tours named Caribbean’s No. 1 tour operator

Kayak Nature Tours was recently named the Caribbean’s number one Tour Operator by Carnival Cruise Lines.

Management and staff of Kayak Nature Tours (which includes Grand Bahama Nature Tours, Garden of the Groves and Garden Cafe) were very pleased to receive this prestigious award.

A plaque and official letter arrived last Friday via the Carnival Pride and were presented by Manuel Sushanth, Shore Excursion Manager, to Erika Gates and her management team, Denise Neely, Kayak Nature Tours; Marilyn Laing, Garden of the Groves and Melanie Ferguson, Garden Café.

Erika Tache, Carnival’s Director of Product Development, explained in a letter to Kayak Nature Tours: “Carnival Cruise Lines is pleased to continue the Tour Operator Awards Program in appreciation of our top-rated tour operators in the Caribbean. The Annual Award celebrates the tour operator with the best performance, most creative and unique shore excursions, best customer service and best ratings and quality.

“The 2017 winner for “CARIBBEAN LEADING TOUR OPERATOR” is Kayak Nature Tours. In recognition of your dedication and exceptional performance. please accept this letter and plaque to commemorate this accomplishment!”

Erika and Ed Gates, owners and operators of Kayak Nature Tours founded the company more than 30 years ago, with the intention of providing the highest standards of service in the tourism market.

They feel it is only through the dedication, hard work and professionalism of their staff that the company has attained a reputation of providing outstanding visitors’ satisfaction and putting Grand Bahama Island on the map as a beautiful nature tour destination.
