Balearia Caribbean announces the change of departure terminal for Jaume II in Fort Lauderdale

BALEARIA CARIBBEAN

General Manager, Mario Otero announces the relocation of its Passenger Terminal and Cargo Services.

On Wednesday May 29, 2019, Balearia Caribbean will be relocating its passenger operations from Terminal 1 to Cruise Terminal 21, Port Everglades, Florida. This new move will allow Balearia Caribbean to be of greater service to its passengers.

“This new location will provide our customers with an upgraded terminal experience” says General Manager Mario Otero. “When customers arrive at terminal 21, they will experience a greater level of comfort. The ambience and ease of navigating the terminal will convey a renewed message of welcome.”

Another added benefit to this relocation will be the enhanced services of the Cargo Department. Balearia Caribbean’s cargo operations will be relocated on Wednesday May 15 to a warehouse located at 3300 SW 13th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Extending the operation hours for our regular customers.

All cargo delivered to this new warehouse will be later transferred from the warehouse to the terminal for transit to Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas on the Jaume II.

The Jaume II will make its final voyage from Terminal 1 on Tuesday, May 28 returning to Terminal 1 from Freeport that evening.

The first voyage for the Jaume II from Cruise Terminal 21 will be on Friday, May 31.

Balearia Caribbean offers four connections weekly between Port Everglades, Florida and Freeport, Grand Bahama Island on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Balearia Caribbean’s fast, friendly and affordable day trip and overnight services will continue at its new location.
