France’s lockdown halts season for Mackey Jr., JSA Bordeaux

LOCKDOWN HALTS PLAY – With the country of France currently under a one-month lockdown, the French Basketball League has been forced to undergo it’s second stoppage of play for the season. As a result, Willis Mackey Jr. (right) and the JSA Bordeaux Basket Team (2-4) managed to win their second game of the season back on October 27 against Toulouse BC, 76-67 before the French government levied the lockdown due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.

Sunrise Christian Academy retires Buddy Hield’s Jersey

JERSEY RETIRED – It was a joyous and emotional return to Wichita, Kansas this past weekend for Grand Bahamian National Basketball Association (NBA) star Chavano “Buddy” Hield (center). The 6´5´ shooting guard for the Sacramento Kings returned to his former high school, Sunrise Christian Academy, where his jersey was retired in an emotional ceremony.
