9 dismissed from GB Tourism Office

The Freeport News learned that nine employees from the Ministry of Tourism’s Grand Bahama office were dismissed, yesterday (Wednesday, August 2). Residents encouraged to get ‘A Taste of Port Lucaya’

A new activity has been planned to benefit the vendors in Port Lucaya, who have been struggling economically since the passing of Hurricane Matthew in October of last year. The venture is a joint effort between the Office of the Prime Minister in Grand Bahama, Ministry of Tourism, BTC, the Grand Bahama Port Authority, the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board, Port Lucaya, and other vendors.
