Grand Bahama Health Services (GBHS) Nurses’ Month Committee recently celebrated International Midwives’ Day at the Rand Memorial Hospital (RMH) under the theme, “Midwives: Making a difference in the world.”All midwives, senior nurses, trained clinical nurses and patient care assistants, who participated in the event were commended for their ongoing efforts to expose women to all elements of reproductive health care by ensuring that pregnant women stay alive and their birth experience is positive.
