Immigration Dept. apprehension exercises increase

Local Immigration officers carried out an exercise last week Friday (October 6), which resulted in the apprehension of 11 Haitian nationals – seven males and four females – all of whom were in the country without legal status.

Two Cuban migrants, who were intercepted in Bahamian waters were turned over to local Immigration officers early Monday morning.
